Simple holiday ideas
The holiday season is upon us and in typical Sonya fashion I love simple and affordable ideas for decorating and crafts especially around Christmas time.
Today I wanted to share a few simple holiday ideas along with the Thrifty Style Team members to inspire you in your home this Christmas.

First I wanted to thank Julie at RedHead can Decorate, the host of our monthly Thrifty Style Team for all she does for our team and you.

Affordable entertaining idea
The holiday season is a very busy time of year and I feel that simple entertaining is best to keep us stress free.
This holiday punch that I shared a while back is perfect for your simple Christmas gatherings.
With just a few ingredients and a beautiful vessel you can make ahead and be ready for fellowship with friends and family.
If you are looking for a simple decorating idea, I have you covered there with a simple wreath.
Creating a simple vintage wreath
One thing I love to do is take something I already have and recreate it with unique items I have on hand.
That is exactly what I did with this flocked wreath I had not used for a while.
This was a plain flocked wreath that I completely changed by adding a few vintage pieces I had on hand.

Recreating an old wreath you have is a great way to have something unique to you and your home.
If you do not have any vintage ornaments you can find them at thrift stores pretty easily.
Easy bow making with left over ribbon
With everything becoming more and more expensive these days it is even more important use what we have.
Bows and ribbon for holiday gifts is no exception so I decided to use leftover ribbon to create some tassels to use on Christmas gifts rather than purchasing new.
This was a great way to use up all the leftover ribbon and craft supplies that I had while creating unique tassels for my Christmas gifts.
There are so many simple ways to create a beautiful holiday season that are budget friendly, this post is another great idea for leftover napkins.
Maybe you are looking for thrifty outdoor decor, this is so fun and fairly easy to create.
Whatever it is that you are looking for the Thrifty Style Team has you covered with these affordable and easy ideas for Christmas.
