Simple budget friendly Thanksgiving tablescape
It is hard to believe that in just a few short weeks we will be celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. If you are anything like me you love to create simple tablescapes. Today I am sharing some of my secrets on how to create a budget friendly Thanksgiving tablescape.
In just a few short weeks we will be gathered around our tables with friends and family celebrating Thanksgiving.
Creating a simple table is something I love doing.
Today I am sharing some tips for creating a budget friendly, simple Thanksgiving tablescape.
Create your plan
First on the list is figuring the plan for your feast and how many guest you will have for dinner.
Once you have your plan, take inventory of what you already have and what you may need to purchase to execute your tablescape.
I love using a mix of old and new items.
This creates a budget friendly table, while giving it a unique.
Where to start
I started with the base, with these gorgeous wicker chargers.
These chargers came from Amazon earlier this year.
They are the perfect layer of texture for any tablescape.
I like to keep things neutral in most of my tablescapes.
Layering with neutrals makes it easy to use these items during other seasons.
Using mismatched plates picked up at the Habitat Restore several years ago for the next layer.
Mismatched items keep things interesting on the table without adding visual clutter.
Additional layers
On top of each white plate I placed a beige and white napkin. These came from Walmart in a set of four varying patterns.
They have several colors to choose from, and they fit right into the budget.
On top of each napkin I placed one of the Johnson Brothers vintage stoneware plates found at a local thrift store.
Don’t worry if you only find a few coffee cups, this set only had two coffee cups so I added two plain white ones I had in my collection.
Vintage pieces
Adding vintage pieces is another great way to bring in some unique items on a budget.
These pieces can be from the thrift store or from family.
My vintage turkey salt and pepper shakers were my grandmothers.
I love adding them to the table during the Thanksgiving holiday.
These are just a few fun ways to create a simple, budget friendly Thanksgiving tablescape.
Just goes to show that a beautiful table does not have to be expensive or elaborate.
Till next time

I love your chargers and they are something that I’ve always wanted to use in my home. The vintage lover in me is in love with your grandmother’s turkey salt and pepper shakers. Love them.
I had always wanted charges and just loved that these could work any time of the year. I feel the same about anything vintage with a story.
