and I still find myself moving things around on it. Trying something new, taking things away and adding something back. It’s never really “done”, but I think that’s what I like about it. It changes with the seasons, with my mood, with life. Just a simple little space that keeps becoming.

It feels like everything is slowing down and speeding up all at once.

for this moment, for this new beginning, for this next chapter of life.

The internet can make us feel that we need to seek the approval of others in our homes and our lives. In the Artist’s Way, Julia Cameron says, “ The ego wants instant gratification and the addictive hit of an acknowledged win.” I am not here to gain others approval but to share what i love and hope that someone gleans some inspiration from that. Trying to slow down more lately..
not rush everything
not feel like every decision has to be made right now
but at the same time...
I’ve been thinking about what’s next, what retirement might look like, places we might go. How do we want life to feel in that season. It’s a quiet kind of balance being present where l am, while also dreaming a little ahead, and maybe that’s enough for now.
