A few of my recent thrifting finds. You know I have a thing for blue and white and I just loved the rooster salt and pepper shakers. I can never pass up a good design book, especially when it is only $4. Stopping by my favorite store frequently is when I find the best things.

I saw a piece something like this made for outdoors on someone’s account several years ago and was so disappointed when I found out what it cost. My simple and budget friendly solution was to buy a large canvas on sale @michaelsstores, stencil the word and distance from our house to the local beach. To make it my own I found some old tobacco sticks and attached them as the frame and it has been in my sons room every since.

It’s no secret that using basket in your home is a great way to store and hide toys, paper and such. I love this large wicker trunk is perfect for using as a coffee table that also stores my pillow inserts and pillows. If you don’t have a lot of extra storage space like me, this is a perfect solution.
