One last little bit of summer before real life sta One last little bit of summer before real life starts again.
We’ve been traveling, spending time with family, seeing new places, and just enjoying being away from the usual routine.
Next week I go back to work, so I’m trying not to rush through these last few days. I’m learning that I don’t need a big vacation or a perfectly planned itinerary to feel like I’ve stepped away for a while.
Sometimes it’s just getting out of your normal surroundings, seeing something different, having a long conversation, and remembering that there is a whole world beyond the daily routine. So for now, I’m soaking up these last few days of summer freedom. Then it’s back to work, back to routines, and back to figuring out what this next season looks like. But I’m taking a little bit of this slower pace with me.

July, you were a good reminder that life doesn’t July, you were a good reminder that life doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful.
This month looked like slow mornings, coffee at home, time with family, a little dreaming about what’s next, and learning to appreciate where l am right
now. There were beautiful moments, there were ordinary ones, and there were plenty of moments that didn’t make
it to Instagram at all, and honestly, I’m glad. I’m learning that creating a beautiful life isn’t about documenting every moment or having everything figured out. It’s about being present enough to actually live it.
July reminded me to slow down.
To make time for people I love.
To dream about the future without rushing through today, and to keep becoming the woman I want to be in this next season. So here’s to July and all the little moments that made it mine.
August, I’m ready for you.

While driving back home I thought about how life gets busy, work fills our calendars, projects to finish, errands to run, and laundry that somehow never ends.
Before we know it, months
or even years have quietly slipped by.
This visit reminded me that home isn’t just the place where we live
It’s also the people who have shaped us, the ones who know our stories, the ones who make us laugh over old memories. The ones who remind us where we came from. As I move through this season of life, I’m realizing that creating a beautiful life isn’t just about decorating a home or planning for what’s next. It’s also about making time for the people who matter most.

Good morning. I missed posting yesterday because l Good morning.
I missed posting yesterday because life happened... and I’m learning that’s okay.
We had a date night at home, and it was a good reminder that creating a beautiful life isn’t just about the home we live in—it’s about the life we’re living inside of it. Today we’re doing something a little different, we are looking at a home on the lake.
Maybe it’s just a dream.
Maybe it’s part of a future season.
Maybe it’s simply fun to imagine what’s next.
l’ve realized I don’t have to have all the answers right now. Sometimes it’s enough to enjoy where you are while staying open to where life might lead. So grab a cup of coffee and come along with me.

Today I shared a little more about what I mean whe Today I shared a little more about what I mean when I talk about becoming and this current season of my life.
For a long time, I thought becoming meant arriving somewhere.
Having the perfect home.
Having everything figured out.
Feeling like life had finally settled. But life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined. After walking through a difficult divorce, I found myself rebuilding more than a home. I was rebuilding me. Slowly, I began creating a home that felt peaceful. A life that is authentic.
A future I could be excited about again.
Now, as I approach my 60th year, became a first-time grandmother, think more intentionally about my health, and dream about retirement, I realize I’m still becoming.
Not because something is missing.
But because growth doesn’t stop. So when I talk about creating a beautiful life, this is what I mean.
Not a perfect life, a life that’s been reshaped by grace, gratitude, and hope.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding too, I hope you know this...You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to keep becoming.
