Breakfast Casserole

The perfect make ahead breakfast casserole

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 1/2 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tbsp minced onions
  • 1 lb bulk sausage I used Neese's Country sausage with extra sage
  • 6 slices bread crust


  • Grease a 9"x13" baking dish
  • Beat eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard together
  • Stir in cheese and onions
  • Add in sausage and bread pieces
  • Mix well
  • Mix in additional ingredients if you choose to 
  • Pour into baking dish and cover
  • Refrigerate overnight
  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Bake 30-40 minutes or until the casserole is set


If you choose to add additional ingredients, you will have to gage the amount as I just add in what I feel is a good amount.
