The first day of Spring has me ready to make my home feel fresh and clean. A couple things I like to do are below:

Clean and refresh the mattress with a mixture of baking soda and 30 drops of lavender oil, let it sit for an hour then vacuum. The other is to create a room spray using your favorite oils with witch hazel and water to spritz around your home.

This is not everything I do but just a few things to get you started. If you have some Spring cleaning tips please share them here.

Did a simple change on the table today for Spring. The biggest change was switching out the heavy greens for much lighter @traderjoes eucalyptus. Spring is the time to lighten things up a bit in our homes and fresh greens is an easy way to do just that.

My favorite part of the day is when the sun is just going down and I light the candles. So many ways to create the mood you desire in your home. Using candles, layered lighting and scent are just a few examples.

Sharing a few tips today for styling a small coffee table. Using a few of your favorite books for height, a candle, small plant and small decor item leaving space for drinks and such. The key is not to overwhelm the table with too many items.
